Stampede Breakfast
Sunday June 24
10:00am - 12:00pm | House of Jacob Mikveh Israel
Join us at the House of Jacob parking lot for a HOJMI-JCC Stampede breakfast. Enjoy a kosher breakfast of eggs, hashbrowns, and pancakes in a family friendly atmosphere. There will be ponies for the kids to, a country music DJ, and entertainment by the Calgary JCC Klezmer Band. This is a free community event.

Discover Betzalel Arts' summer exhibit: New Works with a diverse selection of juried member work. Stay tuned for  reception date where you can meet the artists, ask questions, and enjoy a nosh.

Bark Mitzvah - Mark Your Calendar!

Mark your calendar as we celebrate our 7th Annual Bark Mitzvah - A Party for Our Dogs. This event will be held on the JCC field, rain or shine. More details to come.

JCC Writers' Group
Calling all writers! Do you want to meet with a group of like-minded writers on a regular basis to support, encourage, and get word to paper? Email Tania Guerrero to express your area of interest (poetry, prose, etc.).

 

 

JCC Book Club
First Monday of the month, 1:00-2:30pm
Your place to explore a world of stories! Stimulating conversations, Jewish and non-Jewish authors.

 

Community Klezmer Band
Explore the world of Jewish music? Do you want to know the difference between a Bulgar, a Zok and a Terkisher? Want to learn to play some of the vast and deep klezmer repertoire? Come join clarinetist/conductor Frank Rackow to explore the exciting world of klezmer and related Jewish music. All instruments, ages and levels of experience are welcome. Concert and presentations will be scheduled around the city. Rehearsals: Mondays, 7:00-8:30pm. RSVP to email. 

 

Betzalel Arts
Jewish artists working together to support, encourage, and develop artistic professionalism and growth. Professional and emerging photographers are also welcome to join this group.
