If you are looking to begin an exercise program, build on your existing program, enhance your quality of life or increase your energy level, allow our qualified personal trainers to guide you to success.

We are committed to the community and strive to build programs that help keep families healthy, happy and interacting with one another.

Our experienced personal trainers are dedicated to provide training sessions that are safe, challenging and tailored to meet the specific needs of each client. We promote fitness as a lifestyle that enhances everyday living and longevity.

jackie Jackie Cooney-Lebbert
Fitness and Health Manager
PFT, AFLCA Strength, Group and Aquatics Certified, Level 2 Certified Pilates, Instructor Specialized in Pre- and Post- Natal Fitness, Twist Sports Conditioning Level 1, Running, Team and Sports-Specific Training, Check Holistic Level 1.

A born and raised Calgarian, Jackie has been in the fitness industry for over fourteen years. She has developed and honed a variety of different skills and areas of expertise and has created a passion for helping women 40 and over find success in living a holistic lifestyle. Before joining the Calgary JCC, Jackie worked for the City of Calgary, where she developed various unique programs such as Pure-Strength and Heat and taught many workshops for the Running Room and the City of Calgary. Since joining the JCC team, Jackie has created and executed programs such as Breakthrough in 22, Lose to Win, and most recently, Jacked 360. She has significantly increased personal training and has been an integral part in building and sustaining the CHR Cardiac Wellness program. Training with Intention, a team fitness program designed to increase fitness and strength for teams in their specific sports, is another creation of Jackie’s which has recently grown to fruition.

Jackie has trained a diverse range of people – from aspiring athletes to fire-fighters, people rehabilitating injuries, looking to lose weight or aiming to just get fit. She also teaches a variety of classes, including strength conditioning, aerobics, cycling, running clinics, pre- and post-natal fitness and aqua classes. One of her best skills and most rewarding endeavors is the mentoring work she does with other trainers, athletes and youth.

Jackie is a former bobsleigh athlete and was on the America’s Cup and Alberta Bobsleigh teams. She is a former Canadian power-lifting champion and world bench-press champion and is an avid lover of sports.

On top of all of her accomplishments, she is a mother of three and grandmother of two.
