Seasonal, Summer Camp and After School Care Coordinator
Come join our dynamic Children's Department team! The preferred candidate will have:

• A degree in a related field.
• A minimum of three years professional practice working with children.
• Experience in camps, before and / or after school care programs.
• Experience in other children's programs an asset.

Main responsibilites include planning and implementing all aspects of a seasonal and summer camp program, as well as the coordination of a large after school care service.

Aquatics Coordinator required for our busy facility. This position is primarily responsible for facilitating the needs of all aquatics staff as well as members and other users of the facility. This includes maintenance of pool bookings, set-up of swimming lessons – both group and private – and staff schedules. As the coordinator, it will be your responsibility to oversee the daily activities of the aquatic environment while maintaining a safe and interactive environment for both patrons and fellow staff members. The Aquatics Coordinator will be involved in a variety of areas, including, but not limited to:

• Maintaining an open line of communication with the Fitness and Lifestyles Manager at all times.
• Communication with the public regarding aquatic programs offered by the JCC.
• Hiring employees in conjunction with the Fitness and Lifestyles Manager.
• Ensuring employees are properly trained and certified and receiving appropriate pay.
• Establishing clear and concise guidelines for staff members and patrons.
• Setting up and maintaining the Lifesaving Society Swim for Life swim program, ensuring quality instruction and assistance with any patron questions / concerns.
• Creating and maintaining a safe and interactive environment for both staff and patrons.
