We are here to help you reach your goals. Whether you are a swimmer, a group exerciser or like to lift weights on your own, our helpful and knowledgeable staff will make it fun and easy to workout.

Group Exercise

Group exerciseJoin one of our many group exercise classes. Our certified and dynamic staff lead over 40 different classes each week. There is something for everyone; from the hard core boot camp devotee to the yoga enthusiast. Our schedule is flexible and accommodating. Babysitting is available five days a week from 8:30-11:00. We also offer a variety of care based programs for your older children to keep them entertained and learning while you exercise.

Aquatics

The Calgary JCC’s five lane lap pool has everything you’re looking for. Enjoy our climbing wall, tot dock, wave resistant lane ropes, race start blocks and on deck hot tub and sauna. Our wide assortment of pool toys, sporting gear and exercise equipment will ensure that you have a great time in the pool.

SwimmersThe JCC pool offers something for everyone including lap swimming, group and private lessons, instructor and lifeguard training programs, water fitness classes, specialty workshops such as scuba, snorkeling and babysitting training and of course free swim!

Our friendly, knowledgeable and highly certified staff are leaders in the city in providing Lifesaving Society swim lessons. These lessons ensure more time with the instructor, quicker acquisition of skills and greater success in the water.

Fitness & Lifestyle Center

Our fully equipped weight room and cardiovascular workout centre offers full time certified supervisory staff, a variety of free programs as well as personal training and sport specific classes.

Recreation & Sports

Our daytime programming offers a variety of physical activity for 2-5 year-olds with experienced athletics instructors.  After-school classes for 6-17 year-olds vary with the season, and include badminton, climbing, floor hockey and tennis programs.  Adults may drop in and enjoy the climbing wall during open times, or join one of our many adult sport leagues, including badminton, basketball, flag football, floor hockey, and tennis.
