In addition to providing a wonderful camp experience, we want you to know your child’s safety and well-being are our primary goals. Camp staff participate in an intense training session, come with past experience working with children and are well-supervised and supported. |

Kid B.I.T.S. (Basic Introduction To Summer)
Running Monday, Wednesday and Friday, this half-day (9am - 12pm) camp is designed for 2 year olds to experience a wide variety of camp activities. Theme days, swimming, cooking, crafts, outdoor fun and more!

Kid B.I.T.S. (Basic Introduction To Summer)
This half-day (9am - 12pm) camp is designed for 3 year olds to experience a wide variety of camp activities. Theme days, swimming, cooking, crafts, outdoor fun and more!
If you are taking part in any of our specialty half-day morning camps such as Sportball, Pedalheads and / or Challenger Soccer, and you are looking for an afternoon program to complete the day, your child(ren) can register for the JCC Camp for two-thirds of the regular camp fee. |

Jr. Kibbutz
Week 1, July 4 - 8
Experience kibbutz life right here in Calgary. Gardening, cooking, Israeli dancing and more. Spend the week having fun and learning to care for our environment.

Park Hopper
Week 2, July 11 - 15
Experience many of Calgary’s best parks.* Each morning the bus will depart from the JCC taking your child on a new adventure. Parks may include: Stanley Park, North Glenmore Park, Lakeview Park, Fish Creek Park, Shawnessy water parks and more!

Explore, create and imagine! Experience the world of science with hands-on activities, fun experiments, and field trips.

Week 4, July 25 - 29
Let your imagination soar. Ceramics, papier mache, magic, dress-up fun and sing-along. This week is designed for kids to express their creativity, explore the arts and experience a variety of new things.

Week 5, August 2 - 5
In this wonderful week of water adventure, your children will be able to experience the beauty and excitement of deep sea diving in the friendly confines of the JCC! Campers will have an opportunity to learn about diving safety, practice their skills and then swim in a large structure situated on the “ocean floor” made to resemble the Great Barrier Reef!

Week 6, August 8 - 12
Acting, singing and dancing. This week we aim to create a fun and productive environment filled with respect, positivity, exploration and achievement. Our goal is to develop confident, skilled and well-rounded performers. This camp will be led by Heather Dragge from Theatre Works.

Where the Wild Things Are
Week 7, August 15 - 19
Come join us for an exciting hands-on animal experience. This week will be filled with games, crafts and out-trip adventures that introduce us to the wild and wonderful world of animals!

Construction Kids
Week 8, August 22 - 26
Can we construct it? Yes, we can! Bird houses, popsicle stick bridges, houses and much more…Your child will spend the week building and busting stuff! |

Sports Camp for 6 - 12 Year Olds
Field Sports
Week 1, July 4 - 8
Spend the day on the field playing soccer, flag football, golf and baseball. Campers will learn skills and develop specific techniques while working together as a team.
Outdoor Adventure
Week 2, July 11 - 15
Join us for an action pack week filled with biking, climbing, and camping skills. Campers must bring their own bicycle and helmet.
Urban Edge
Week 3, July 18 - 22
Hit the streets of Calgary for a week of skateboarding, hip hop dancing, beat box and creative “street art”. Urban Edge camp will put your child in the summer groove. Please note: Your child will be required to bring a skateboard, helmet and pads from home.
Fit Sports
Week 4, July 25 - 29
Keep in shape and have fun at the same time! Yoga, tumbling, healthy cooking and track ‘n’ field. Fit Sports will exercise the mind, body and spirit.

Week 5, August 2 - 5

Kibbutznik
Week 1, July 4 - 8
Spend the week experiencing Kibbutz life in Calgary. We will work on a community garden, cook and do Israeli dancing. We will focus on learning about our environment while having lots of fun!

Challenger Soccer** (ages 3 - 12)
Week 4, July 25 - 29
British Soccer, the #1 soccer camp in the U.S. and Canada is returning to the JCC this summer! Our coaches are direct from the U.K. This program focuses on teaching key techniques and technical components of soccer. However, we are also committed to the whole child. We coach soccer skills within a framework of character development based on respect, responsibility, integrity, leadership and sportsmanship.

Byte Camp (ages 9 - 12)
Week 5, August 2 - 5
Make your own clay characters come to life, just like Wallace and Gromit! Campers will get to build their own clay characters, sets and props, develop their own script, shoot their movie scenes, and then learn to edit and add sounds and special effects to complete the whole project. Completed projects are posted for on-line viewing at www.bytecamp.ca and handed out on take-home USB sticks.

Bricks 4 Kidz (ages 6 - 12)
Week 8, August 22 - 26
Lots of building fun ahead with motorized models of a car, helicopter, airplane, sailboat and more. These models rock, roll and spin! Your child will follow our step-by-step model plans to create their vehicle, then customize it to their own specifications and take their mini-figure for a ride. Their day will also include plenty of LEGO®-based games, challenges, and time for free-play with our giant tub of LEGO®. |

Parent Information

- Camp runs from 9am to 4pm. Pre-Care is from 8-9am and Post-Care is from 4-6pm.
- All camp fees must be paid in full at time of registration.
- There will be a $10 service charge for any changes requested after the registration form has been submitted. Purchasing of additional weeks will not be subject to penalty.
- If withdrawing from a camp session a minimum of five business days notice must be provided. No refund will be provided with less than five days notice. A 20% administration fee will be charged to all withdrawals.
- If a camper withdraws during the camp session, no refund will be given.
- No refunds will be given for absences during camp session.
- Each camp group requires a minimum number of campers to operate. Camper groups may be blended to ensure requirements are met.
- Member prices are not available for children of families holding individual or senior memberships. Member prices are available for families with a valid membership for the week attending.
- Please bring a hat, bathing suit, towel, sunscreen, lunch with snacks and a labeled water bottle everyday.
- We are a nut-free camp in a kosher facility. If you are uncertain as to what foods are acceptable, please contact Rhona Richards at 403-444-3168 or email.
