If you’re looking for a like-minded community of Jew-ish musical theatre lovers, come be a part of this “troupe” of performers. We’ll collaborate, share stories, and explore classic and contemporary musical theatre. Want to show off? Join both sessions to develop a cabaret performance to share with the JCC community in the spring. Just looking to scratch that theatre itch? Jump in this fall to sing, dance, and play!

Aliza Sarian is an award-winning arts educator and current professor of theatre at NYU. She taught theatre arts in New York City for 15 years and has collaborated on new play development with international playwrights and off-Broadway theatre companies such as MCC Theater and incubators such as The Bechdel Group. During her time in NYC, she worked with a range of institutions including Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and Disney Theatrical Group. Aliza’s students have gone on to study acting and playwriting at prestigious performing arts high schools and universities, performing in and producing work on and off-Broadway, as well as working professionally in film and television.
