Join the Beth Tzedec Calgary Jewish Film Festival in collaboration with the Paperny Family JCC Jewish Book Festival for the Canadian premiere screening of the film, The Choice. Inspired by the New York Times bestselling book, The Choice: Embrace the Possible.

This moving and life-affirming documentary is about two women subjected to profound trauma, and the choices they make on their paths to healing. After her son, Yotam’s tragic death, Iris Haim finds an unexpected source of comfort in Dr. Edith Eger, renowned psychologist and author, and Auschwitz survivor. Although separated by generations, Edie’s story leads Iris on a transformative journey during her moment of greatest need.
