Catherine

Catherine was born and raised in Calgary. She is a graduate of the SAIT Television, Radio and Stage Arts Program, a graduate of the Mount Royal University Leisure Education and Recreation program, and a graduate of the SAIT Facility Maintenance and Operations program. Catherine retired from 52 years of coaching skating, and although skating has been a big part of her life, she also played on several competitive team sports. She played on SAIT’s collegiate volleyball team, Calgary Midget All-star Fastball team for three seasons, as well as girls basketball and curling. Catherine has worked as a bartender, waitress, office cleaner, bank teller, radio and TV broadcasting, assistant recreation directors at two different community associations, and an instructional aide at Bishop Carroll High School‘s physical education department. Her biggest claim to fame is that the Norma Bush Arena is named after her mom. Catherine has worked at the JCC customer service desk for over 11 years – and if you didn’t know after all of this time, her passion is anything Disney!
