Matt Danko

Born and raised in Calgary, Matt holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. His passion for fitness and recreation led him to start his career in the industry, at the end of 2016. He has been with the JCC since August 2023. A lifelong sports fan, Matt grew up playing primarily basketball and volleyball. He is a fan of Calgary’s Flames and Stampeders, and Toronto’s Raptors and Blue Jays. In his free time, he organizes and plays on hockey and basketball teams, runs and plays in fantasy sports leagues, and enjoys playing disc golf. You’ll often find Matt in the fitness centre or gymnasium at the JCC, where fitness, recreation, and pickleball are his areas of expertise. He’s always happy to chat and help participants!
