National Lifeguard Certification Ages 16+
Recognized as the standard for lifeguards in Canada, NL training develops a sound understanding of lifeguarding principles, good judgment, and mature and responsible attitude toward the role of lifeguarding. This six-day program develops basic skills, principles, and decision-making processes to help lifeguards evaluate and adapt to different aquatics facilities and emergencies.
Prerequisites: Current Standard First Aid and CPR level C, Bronze Cross, and 16+ years of age.
National Lifeguard Recertification Ages 16+
This recertification class allows the instructors to be evaluated and demonstrate their skills to ensure they are meeting the Lifesaving Society LSI Level 1 competencies.
Prerequisites: Previous LSI certification, Bronze Update 2021, and 16 years of age.
