Burst Tomato Cottage Cheese Caprese Bowl

This Burst Tomato Cottage Cheese Caprese Bowl recipe is easy to prepare (with the help of an air fryer) if you’re looking for a delicious, high protein lunch. It is so good and it really does taste like the inside of Burrata cheese!

  • 1 cup cottage cheese (whole or 2%)
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic glaze
  • fresh basil, for garnish
  • pinch kosher salt
  • black pepper to taste



  1. Season tomatoes in a medium bowl with 1 teaspoon olive oil and pinch of salt.
  2. Air fry at 400°F for 5 to 6 minutes, shaking the basket halfway, until tomatoes burst.
  3. Place cottage cheese in a bowl and top with the tomatoes.
  4. Drizzle more oil, balsamic glaze, salt, pepper, and garnish with basil.
  5. Enjoy!
