Julia Van Gisbergen
Aquatics Program Lead

Having grown up overseas and as a competitive swimmer, Julia possesses a unique skill set with a focus on adaptability in the aquatics industry. She has four years of applicable experience as a coach, both with the Lifesaving Society and Swimming Canada, and has been working at the JCC for three years. Specializing in technique and speed development as a competitive summer club coach, she is very excited for the launch of the JSwim program!
Julia studies architecture at the University of Calgary. She enjoys training for triathlons (swimming, cycling, running) with a UCalgary recreational team. Driven by her interest in the natural aquatics environment, she enjoys adventure travel and is pursuing her PADI DiveMaster certification.
